Italian footwear and accessories brand Ruco Line has one store in Hong Kong, located within Harbour City’s Gateway Arcade (3-27 Canton Road).
Rucoline Spa was founded by Marco Santucci and Daniela Penchini in 1987 in Mugnano, just outside of Perugia, Italy, with the idea of importing ethnic tricot shoes under Ruco Line brand.
Much of the brand’s success was thanks to Daniela Penchini, both an architect and a designer, who created a new line of Ruco Line feminine sneaker footwear.
That line, the Ruco Line “200” model, uniquely combined sport inspiration with glamorous, contemporary fashion influences.
Starting point for the line was a classic sports shoe, inventively deconstructed for each season with refined fabrics, an approach that is still carried throughout Ruco Line’s product categories.
Today, Ruco Line has lines of footwear and accessories, where utmost attention is paid to quality, research, Rucoline-exclusive materials, and finishing touches.
The company has headquarters in Italy within a very modern space that has been created inside a prestigious 19th century tobacco factory, a reflection of Rucoline’s respect for heritage traditions and cutting-edge design.
Overall, in addition to their flagship store in Hong Kong, Ruco Line operates a network of 21 monobrand stores throughout the world, including several in mainland China. The brand is also distributed via more than 300 multibrand stores in Italy and in 100 stores worldwide.
