Multimedia retail chain Hong Kong Records has two stores in Hong Kong, one at Pacific Place (88 Queensway) and another within Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel Arcade (3 Canton Road). (UPDATE 2021: THE SHOPS HAVE CLOSED)
Founded in 1990, Hong Kong Records offers a great selection of CDs, DVDs, Blu-ray, 3D Blu-ray, video games, accessories, as well as book and magazines.
In total, the company carries more than 200,000 audio & video items, including both up to the minute new release titles – music, movies, games, accessories – and a full range of back catalogue items in both shops.
At the store, popular items include CDs from classical to jazz and pop music, vinyls, and Blu-ray movies.
In addition to mainstream music and blockbuster movies, the must have items feature video game consoles, game software and accessories, headphones as well as other audio and video accessories, movie action figurines, magazines, and even concert tickets.
