British brand Kent & Curwen has three men’s clothing stores in Hong Kong, including one shop within Festival Walk mall (80 Tat Chee Ave).
Founded in 1926 in London, UK, by Eric Kent and Dorothy Curwen, the company is a retailer of authentic British menswear, recognized for its classic styling, sophisticated fabrics, and impeccable tailoring.
The brand began its story as a manufacturer of club, college, and regimental ties to institutions including Oxford and Cambridge universities in the UK, as well as Hollywood Cricket Club and Palm Springs Racquet Club on the American shores, but the collections quickly grew to include cricket sweaters and rugby socks.
Festival Walk.
The company’s success in men’s ties was one of the brand’s cornerstores over the years, and by the 1950s, they were among the largest tie suppliers in the UK, including providing ties to brands operating within London’s Jermyn Street and Savile Row, still one of the world centers for elegant men’s clothing.

By 1970s and with the increased sales of their cricket sweaters, the label expanded into knitwear, which was followed in the 1980s a move into fashion retailing.
