Menya Musashi – 7 Japanese Restaurants in Hong Kong

There are seven Menya Musashi Japanese restaurants in Hong Kong to choose from, including one outlet within Maritime Square (33 Tsing King Road).

The restaurant chain, which opened its first Tokyo location back in 1996, is named after a legendary 17th century samurai, Miyamoto Musashi, who was known for his double sword swordsmanship style and philosophical teachings.

One of the key operating principles of the restaurant is “Originality“, which translates to striving daily to deliver unprecedented achievements in order to turn ramen dishes into a fine and revolutionary art form.

Considered the pioneer of new type of ramen culture in Japan, the chain thrives on innovation, offering noodles in a variety of different textures and a selection of soup bases.

The signature dish at the restaurant outlets is white tonkotsu broth, made from boiling pork bones and tsukemen, a type of ramen that is consumed after the noodles are dipped in a separate bowl of soup.

You can also choose from several other signature broths, including triple soup and Tokyo-Ueno style soup which includes chicken or fish as its ingredients.
