Passion. Bakery Cafe, a popular French-style café in Hong Kong, has two locations available, with a flagship outlet at Lee Tung Avenue (200 Queen’s Road East).
Established by Swiss-born pastry chef Gérard Dubois in June 2012, the bakery cafes deliver top-quality products within a traditional French café experience.
Signature products at the outlets include crusty sourdough bread and Passion baguette, baked in-house in a traditional stone oven. Both are made exclusively with imported French flour of the highest quality.
Lee Tung Avenue.
Apart from the best-selling specialty bread, the bakery & cafe offers a full line of trendy as well as all time favourite French pastries, such as Tarte au Citron and Mille Feuille with vanilla & salted caramel cream, each well loved by pastry fanciers.
As for gift items, you can’t go wrong with Passion’s hand-made French macarons, offered in elegant black velvet gift boxes that distinguish themselves with hand-painted shells and delicate pâte-de-fruit filling.
Passion. Bakery Cafe also has a signature drink, the cafe’s thick creamy chocolat chaud, where the bitterness of dark chocolate blends perfectly with the fruitiness of raspberry.
Also, the deli sandwiches created in the shop are prepared with selective homemade artisan bread that is made in-house.
If you’re looking for a casual yet tasty meal, the outlets also feature a light evening menu for diners. There’s also a salad counter. All salads, sandwiches, bakeries and pastries are available for take-away and sit-in dining.
