British nursery products manufacturer Silver Cross has one store in Hong Kong, located within Harbour City’s Ocean Terminal (3-27 Canton Road). (UPDATE 2023: THE STORE HAS CLOSED)
The company was founded by William Wilson in 1877 in Leeds, Yorkshire, UK, when he invented the world’s first baby carriage, using an innovative spring system – today known as the bouncing Silver Cross suspension – combined with a reversible hood.
Modern Silver Cross is a nursery specialist brand that is still best known for their coach built baby carriages, while the full range of products includes prams, travel systems, strollers, nursery furniture, bedding, car seats, accessories, and toys.
The name Silver Cross has long been associated with royalty, first supplying a pram for King George VI, and later for Princess Grace of Monaco, as well as HRH Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, and a young Prince Charles.
All of the Silver Cross still carry the brand’s original heritage for uncompromising quality, painstaking craftsmanship, as well as practical design.
