Constructed within the old horse stables of Hullett House, a beautiful white-stucco colonial building dating back to 1881, Stables Grill offers one the best in casual dining experiences in Hong Kong for both lunch and dinner.
As you enter the restaurant, you’ll find, behind the two large antique wooden stable doors, an interior hewn from worn wood and highlighted by brown textures.
Within the dining room, lights hung from the ceiling are cleverly concealed in suspended leather cylinders that were originally used to transport freshly-sheared sheep’s wool from France in the 1950s.
Looking at the walls, you’ll discover decorations made with salvaged wooden panels from the deck of a 50-year-old Chinese ship.
And with view over the surrounding, sweeping lawns, Stables Grill has an ambience of old Hong Kong, where it is sheer pleasure to enjoy the culinary delights expertly presented by the culinary team.
The restaurants menu has an extensive grill section, featuring both quality meat and seafood, all carefully-selected and chargrilled to order over an open grill.
At Stables Grill, you can dine both indoors (with capacity for 20 diners), as well as outdoors (with seating for 22 diners).
