The Chinnery British restaurant in Hong Kong is located within Mandarin Oriental hotel, at 5 Connaught Rd Central.
Named after the famous English artist George Chinnery, the place features a relaxed, club-like atmosphere with deep upholstered armchairs, green leather banquettes and warm wood paneling, with a menu that focuss on traditional British cuisine.
The laid-back menu has a wide range of classic dishes, including bangers and mash, and steak & ale pie, available for lunch and dinner.
Signature menu items include Fish & Chips (Haddock fried in Boddingtons batter, home-made tartar sauce and potato chips) and Tikka Chicken (cooked with tomato, butter, yogurt and aromatic spices, and served with Basmati rice).
